Take the rand/km amount based on Diesel/Petrol and Passenger/bakkie then multiply it by the distance driven.

For example:

A trip in a Isuzu double cab (3.0L engine) from Milnerton to the Nekkies – Alfies race is a 315km round trip.

4 paddlers and a second (NB! Second should never bring out their wallets)

If you have Kayaks on the roof add 5%

If you are towing a single axel trailer add 8%

If there are more than 5 people in the car (Kombi) then add 12%

Don’t forget to add toll fees. What about some extra (R20pp) for the carwash if its a muddy Berg race?
