The Junior Event at Century City that has been scheduled for Saturday 5 March 2011 has been moved to Sunday 6 March 2011. The Juniors will now be part of the Century City Canoe Club “Guess Your Time” event. Registration starts at 09h00 at Century City Canoe Club and racing at 10h30. The Juniors (U/14, U/16 and U/18) boy and girl categories will start with the main field at 10h30 and do approximately 12km. There is a terrific cash prize for the person who is closest in guessing his final time correctly. The Guppies (U/8, U/10 and U/12) boy and girl categories will start approximately 5 minutes after the main field and do approximately 6km. There will be prizes for all the winners in the guppie categories. There will be medals for all participants and terrific spot prizes in a lucky draw.
