Proceed along N1 towards Paarl, taking the first off-ramp to Paarl Main Road (R45), turning left (north) onto the Main Road (R45) towards Paarl.

Proceed 2km, turning right (east) at the traffic robots onto the Berg River Boulevard.

Continue straight north for 6km, crossing the Market Street circle, Lady Grey Street (traffic robots) up to the T-intersection with Optenhorst Road, turning right (east) at the traffic robots, cross over the bridge over the Berg River and turn left (north) at the next traffic robots onto Westhoven Road, continuing a further 700m to park on the east side of Langstraat bridge over the Berg River.

This is the venue for the start of the race stop. The weir just upstream of the bridge is the Dal Josafat Weir.

After the start of the race, proceed along Langstraat in a westerly direction up to the traffic robots at the intersection with Main Street, turning right (north).

Proceed a further 1.5km and turn half right and continue along the Malmesbury Road for a further 5.2km.

Cross over the R44 at the 4-way stop and proceed a further 1km, turning right (east), proceeding a further 2.7km to the Lady Loch Bridge over the Berg River.

This is the venue for the end of the race.

Alternative Route to the Start

Proceed along N1 towards Paarl, taking the first off-ramp after crossing over the Berg River, turning left (north) onto Jan Van Riebeeck Road (R303) and proceed for 5km before turning left (west) onto Oosbosch Road at the traffic robots.

Proceed a further 600m over the bridge over the railway line, turning right (north) onto Westhoven Road.

Proceed a further 700m to park on the east side of Langstraat Bridge over the Berg River. This is the venue for the start of the race stop. The weir just upstream of the bridge is the Dal Josafat Weir.
