Take the N1 to Paarl from Cape Town. Take the R44/ Klapmuts turn off. Turn right and go under the N1 and passed Butterfly World. At the 4 way stop go straight. Take the next road left to Franschoek/ Bonheur crock farm. At the T-Junction turn right towards Franshoek and follow the road untill you cross the river. Just passed the river take the next road right at the 4 way intersection to the dam wall.

Suggested route to Paarl Cano Club-  take the road to Wemmershoek- passed the dam/Saw Mill and Jail. Keep on this road -pass under the N1 untill you reach a circle. Turn left at the circle (Market Street). Turn left again and then quickly right. Follow the little road towards the river – just before the river is the Paarl Canoe Club on the left.
