The SA Masters paddlers collectively 'cleaned-up' at the first day if the 2011 World Canoe Marathon Championships being held in Singapore, winning 11 medals - 5 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze.

In terms of the CSA Constitution, section 15, notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting of the federation, to be held at Natal Canoe Club on Campsdrift in KwaZulu Natal at 10h00 on the 1^st December 2011.

Each member union is entitled to send a delegate to the Annual General meeting, who will carry the unions voting rights. The business to be transacted at the Annual General Meeting includes any amendments to the constitution, the consideration of accounts, reports of the Board (including those in relation to the activities of CSA during the last preceding Financial Year) and auditors and the election of Directors and Life Members.

Nominations for the position of President and THREE interested directors (Naas Fischer, Lindi Harmsen and Lynda Lion-Cachet whose terms come to an end and one vacant director’s position) are hereby called for. Please complete the attached nomination form and return to the CSA office by no later than the 3^rd November 2011.

Any motions or agenda items for the Annual General meeting must be submitted to the CSA office by the 3^rd November 2011.
